I am passionate about helping you meet your nutrition and fitness goals, because I believe our diet fuels our mental and physical health! I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years, a personal trainer for 2, specializing in healthy weight and body composition coaching.
I have an extensive background working with people with conditions that result in insulin resistance like obesity, hypothyroidism, type 2 diabetes, PCOS, rheumatoid arthritis and more. I love spending time with my family, training for fitness competitions, camping, and cooking good food.
I look forward to working out beside you in the gym and partnering together to meet your health and weight goals. Join me for a Nutrition Challenge today!
From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for weightlifting. While cardio hasn’t always been my favorite, I’ve come to appreciate its role in overall health and performance. Growing up as a multi-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, tennis, and track & field, strength training played a huge part in helping me become well-rounded and competitive across each discipline.
I earned my B.A. in Exercise Science and completed internships focused on training young athletes, which deepened my understanding and love for fitness. Isaiah 40:31 Fitness gave me the opportunity to return to what I love most—coaching and building up others through fitness. The community here is truly one of a kind, and I have no doubt you’ll feel right at home.
I live by three simple beliefs:
1. Fitness should be fun.
2. The barbell should be heavy.
3. Always celebrate your milestones.
Let’s lift, grow, and celebrate together!

I enjoy working at Isaiah 40:31 Fitness because this is more than just a place to exercise or train — it’s a place to belong. The environment here promotes not only physical health and growth, but also social and spiritual well-being. It’s a space where you can challenge yourself in a safe, supportive community that accepts you and offers the encouragement you need to push past limits you never thought possible. Being part of this mission is a true blessing, and I can only hope that I’m giving back as much as I’m receiving.
I’ve spent a lifetime as a fitness enthusiast, participating in everything from cycling and resistance training to kickboxing, Zumba, and cardio classes. I’ve been part of boot camp programs and competed in various amateur fitness events. Recently, I decided to bundle up all that experience and earn my personal trainer certification — giving me the opportunity to help others grow, get stronger, and discover what they’re capable of.
What I love most about working at Isaiah 40:31 Fitness is the family-oriented culture. This gym is so much more than just weights and machines — it’s a place of connection, positivity, and strength. Whether I’m coaching a class or getting in a workout myself, the energy here is something special. It’s uplifting, encouraging, and real. That energy fuels me to grow and thrive both inside and outside the gym.
Since 2013, strength and endurance training have been at the heart of my lifestyle. Over the past 12 years, I’ve focused on developing strength, mastering functional movement, building endurance, and understanding the importance of recovery. I’ve completed marathons, tackled a half Ironman, and competed in countless fitness events along the way. But my true passion is helping others — especially those just starting their fitness journeys. There’s nothing better than helping someone break barriers, hit goals they never thought possible, and build friendships in the process.

I am a former collegiate track athlete with a passion for faith, fitness, and helping others grow stronger—physically, mentally, and spiritually. As a middle school PE teacher and coach, I find purpose in guiding people to become the best version of themselves both in and out of the gym. I believe movement is a gift from God and that discipline in the gym builds more than just muscles—it builds character. Isaiah 40:31 Fitness is more than a gym—it’s a family. The workouts are challenging, the community is full of love, and from the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I had found my second home.
My path into coaching began at 35, during a time when I was unhappy with my own fitness and knew something needed to change. Stepping out of my comfort zone and joining a gym was a turning point for me. As I began to move my body consistently, l fell in love with how exercise made me feel stronger, more confident, and more energized in everyday life.
What started as a personal journey quickly grew into a passion for helping others experience that same transformation. That passion led me to become a group fitness coach, where I now get to support, motivate, and empower people at every stage of their fitness journey. My goal is to help members feel successful, capable, and confident-both inside and outside the gym.

I’m a distance runner through and through. Seven marathons in, and I’m not slowing down anytime soon. I’m also a Houston Chevron Marathon Ambassador and have competed in numerous HYROX events (both solo and partner), along with more DEKA Mile, Strong, and Fit races than I can count. Right now, I’m training for my first 100-mile race. It still feels a little crazy to say out loud, but after completing three ultramarathons, I guess I enjoy a good challenge.
I’ve been a member at Isaiah 40:31 Fitness since the day the doors opened, so this gym truly feels like home. Before all the racing, I spent years caring for my mom, and that’s where I learned what real endurance, resilience, and perseverance look like. Running became my outlet, and fitness has been part of my journey ever since.
A few fun facts about me: I own more than 20 pairs of Goodr sunglasses (and no, I don’t need an intervention!), and if you ask my favorite food, the answer will always be chicken tenders.
Whether you’re training for your first 5K, tackling your first HYROX or DEKA event, or simply looking to become stronger and healthier, I’d love to help you reach your goals. Let’s get after it!
